Dario is a new restaurant venture from industry veterans Joe Rolle and Stephen Rowe

Serving handmade pastas, seasonal vegetables, and first-class cocktails, our menu takes inspiration from Chef Joe Rolle’s north woods upbringing, diverse cooking experience and global travels.

Tucked away in a quiet pocket of the bustling North Loop neighborhood, guests can expect a dining experience best described as “energetic sophistication.”

Chef Joe Rolle has nearly twenty years of culinary experiences at some of the Twin Cities’ premier restaurants. Rolle began his career in the kitchen at The Dakota, working under and learning from the late legend Jack Riebel. From there, Rolle worked at such restaurants as Martina, Il Foro, and Borough.

Dario is a culminating expression of his professional experiences, northern Minnesota upbringing, global culinary inspiration, and deep love for the city of Minneapolis.

As Dario’s Beverage Director, Stephen Rowe brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. He bartended for nearly a decade as one of the founding team members of Marvel Bar, a world-renowned, award-winning cocktail bar in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis.

Stephen’s ambition is to deliver a first-rate beverage program at Dario that can stand on its own while complementing Chef Rolle’s menu.

  • We’re just off Washington Avenue N. in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis. Dario is located on the main floor of the T3 building.

  • The simplest option for guests is to use our valet service, offered nightly.

    For parking, we recommend using the nearby Ramp C on 3rd Avenue. Once inside this ramp, park as closely as possible to the 3rd Avenue elevators/exit. Take the 3rd Ave elevator bank to the Basement (B) level, and you’ll find Dario right across the street.

    Lastly, metered street parking can be found throughout our neighborhood.

  • Yes! While reservations are encouraged, we aspire for Dario to be a spontaneous destination for our neighbors and guests. A portion of our 16-seat bar and select seating in the dining room will be reserved each evening for walk-in guests.

  • We do our best to accommodate all our guests’ dietary restrictions. Please let us know of any dietary considerations upon booking your reservation.

  • Due to all of our pastas being handmade daily, we do not offer gluten-free substitutes for our pasta-based dishes. Our pastas use non-GMO semolina, specialty 00 Flour, and organic eggs.

    For guests with celiac or serious gluten intolerances, we invite you to explore our menu’s many gluten-free dishes listed in the Raw, Vegetables, and Proteins sections.

  • Our dining room can accommodate groups of up to eight. For larger groups please visit our private dining and events page.
